Is The Finals Boosting Worth It?

The honest answer

Boosting is worth it for some players and a waste of money for others. The difference comes down to what you're actually trying to achieve and whether boosting gets you there.

This page gives you an honest breakdown — not a sales pitch. If boosting isn't right for you, we'd rather you know that upfront.

When boosting makes sense

You want the rank, not the climb

Some players have a specific rank target — Diamond for a badge, Ruby for bragging rights, Platinum to play with friends at a certain level. If the rank itself is the goal and the grind is just an obstacle, boosting is a direct solution. You get the rank, your time is preserved.

You're stuck and not improving

If you've been at the same rank for an entire season and your gameplay isn't noticeably improving, continuing to grind alone is unlikely to change the outcome. A boost gets you out of the plateau. Whether you stay there depends on your skill — but the fresh environment of a higher rank sometimes accelerates learning more than solo grinding does.

Limited time

A season lasts a few months. If you play 5 hours a week, reaching Ruby from Gold by grinding alone isn't realistic. Boosting solves a time constraint problem. You're effectively paying for hours of play you don't have.

Season start / placement matches

Placement matches at season start have an outsized effect on your starting rank. Losing half your placements because you queued tired on day one costs you weeks of grinding. A placement boost is very low cost relative to the time it saves.

When boosting doesn't make sense

You want to improve

If climbing is genuinely about getting better at the game, boosting works against you. Being placed in a rank your mechanics don't support means every match is harder than it should be. You'll likely drop back down, having spent money and not improved. Coaching is a better investment in this case.

You expect to maintain the rank alone

A boost gets you to a rank. Staying there requires playing at that rank's level. If there's a significant gap between your boosted rank and your actual skill, maintaining it solo is difficult. This isn't a reason to not boost — but it's a realistic expectation to have.

What does it actually cost?

Our prices start from €12 for small rank boosts (Bronze → Silver) and go up to €170+ for Diamond → Ruby. The majority of common boost orders (Gold → Diamond, Platinum → Diamond) range between €30–€90. Use our price calculator for your exact cost.

Compared to buying cosmetics, battle passes, or other in-game purchases, a boost is a one-time payment that delivers a permanent result for the season.
