Heavy class overview
Heavy has the highest HP in the game at 350, making it the most durable class and the natural anchor of any team. Heavy excels at holding cashouts, breaking structures to create new fight angles, and absorbing damage that would instantly delete a Light or Medium.
The tradeoff is mobility — Heavy is the slowest class and struggles against fast-moving enemies in open spaces. Playing Heavy well means controlling the environment: forcing fights into enclosed spaces, breaking structures to eliminate enemy cover, and anchoring the team during cashout fights.
Best Heavy specialisations
Mesh Shield (S-tier)
Buffed in Season 10 to 12 seconds duration. Deploy in front of the cashout to create an impenetrable barrier on one side. Extremely powerful on defence — forces enemies to flank rather than push straight into you.
Winch Claw (S-tier)
The dominant Heavy specialisation. Pull enemies off cashout platforms, out of cover, or directly into your team. A well-timed Winch Claw against a healing Medium or a cloaked Light completely changes the fight. Has a clear counter — staying aware of Heavy positioning — but most opponents don't respect it enough.
Charge N Slam (A-tier)
Gap-closer and structure destroyer in one. Charge into a group of enemies and deal massive AoE damage while destroying the floor or wall behind them. Best in maps with multi-floor buildings where collapsing structures creates chaos.
Best Heavy weapons
| Weapon | Tier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Lewis Gun | S | Best sustained DPS for cashout holding |
| SA1216 | S | Devastating at close range in cashout rooms |
| Shak-50 | S | High damage — excellent on close range maps |
| M60 | A | High ammo, sustained pressure |
| BFR Titan | A | Excellent at long range, struggles heavily in close range |
| Flamethrower | B | Buffed in S10 — viable at low ranks |
Best Heavy gadgets
- Dome Shield — creates an impenetrable bubble that blocks all ranged damage. Game-changing on cashout — deploy in the final 5 seconds when enemies are pushing hard.
- RPG-7 — high damage explosive for destroying cover, collapsing structures, and punishing grouped enemies from range.
- C4 — stick it to walls, floors or ceilings near the cashout and detonate when enemies push. Devastating in enclosed spaces.
How to play Heavy effectively
- Control the cashout room — your job is to make the space around the cashout as favourable for your team as possible. Break walls to open flanks, deploy Mesh Shield to block one entry, and Winch anyone who pushes.
- Pair with a Heal Beam — Heavy with a Medium healing it is one of the strongest duos in the game. At 350 HP with sustained healing, you become nearly unkillable in a straight fight.
- Don't chase kills — Heavy is slow. Chasing a fleeing Light away from the cashout is almost always the wrong decision. Hold your position and let them come to you.
- Use destruction offensively — don't wait for enemies to use destructible terrain. Collapse floors on enemies below, break walls to create unexpected entry points, and deny cover proactively.
